Planning an Evaluation of “Cure Violence”

With funding from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF), the Research and Evaluation Center at John Jay College and the Department of Criminal Justice at Temple University planned a comprehensive evaluation of the “Cure Violence” model of violence reduction. The research team studied the key components of the Cure Violence model and the various processes used to implement the model in existing sites, especially those sites thought to be performing at the highest level. Upon completion of the planning phase, the research team prepared and submitted an evaluation plan for the full study to RWJF.
